The Bourne School Committee is accepting applications for the position of Superintendent of Schools.  This preK-12 school district is located on Cape Cod 50 miles south of Boston and is comprised of 4 schools with a student population of 2375.  District oversight is provided by a 7 member school committee working with the Superintendent of Schools.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Certified or eligible for certification as a Massachusetts School Superintendent. Successful leadership experience in a K-12 district and a strong background in school/municipal finance will be important in the selection process. A thorough understanding of current education laws and regulations is required along with an advanced graduate degree in school administration.

 

Salary:  $140,000 - $150,000 negotiable based on qualifications

The Nauset Regional School District and Union #54 is accepting applicatins for the position of Superintendent of Schools.  The school district (preK-12) is comprised of 7 schools located within the towns of Brewster, Eastham, Orleans and Wellfleet with a student population of 2600.  The Nauset Regional School District is located approximately 100 miles southeast of Boston.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a Massachusetts Superintendent.
  • Master's Degree required/advanced degree preferred.
  • Combination of teaching and administrative leadership experence at the Centeral Office and/or building level.
  • Regional School District knowledge/experience.

The Taunton School Committee is accepting applications for the position of Superintendent of Schools.  This preK-12 school district is located 25 miles south of Boston and is comprised of 16 schools with a student population of 8000.  The Mayor and an 8-member school committee working with the Superintendent provide oversight for the school district.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Board of Directors of the Cape Cod Collaborative (CCC) is accepting applications for the position of Executive Director.  Cape Cod Collaborative is comprised of twenty (20) school districts from the Cape and Islands locale.  The central office of the Cape Cod Collaborative is located at the Otis Air National Guard Base in Bourne, Massachusetts.  A Board of Directors made up of School Committee representatives from the member districts administers the operation of CCC through its Executive Director.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Applicants must have prior successful administrative experience managing/supervising public school programs.  A strong background in the area of school/municipal finance will be important in the selection process.  A thorough understanding of current education laws and regulations is required.  Master's degree in education or school administration required.

Salary:  $117,000 - $127,000                  Application deadline:  November 5, 2008

SALARY:   A multi-year contract with a salary range $98,000-$105,000 will be negotiated based on credentials and experience.
